Dear Dinesh,

The Debian RISCV developers (Manuel Montecelo, Karsten Merker and 
Aurelien Jarno) have worked their

magic and updated the repositories to a consistent working set (merging 
in the latest glibc amongst other things)

and I have updated the lowRISC installation scripts if you want to 
update from git and try it again (it worked for me).
