Well chappies.
Just been to the Iyonix site and wanted to print out the specs of the
various machines... I see you've not yet sorted out the printing problems
with NetSurf.
Picture elements printed okay but the textural content blank... tried a
couple of settings... Blank.

Printer: HP LaserJet 5P Prints okay from other browsers.
Machine: SARPC Select 4.39 with plenty of RAM.
Any cure?

That's strange. I've just tried printing and the text comes out fine
but the images are blank except for a feint underline if there's a
link.

Please try with the latest build. If it still doesn't work, submit a bug to
the tracker and please attach !Scrap.ScrapDirs.ScrapDir.WWW.NetSurf.Log after
starting, trying to print the welcome page, and quitting.

Just done that James, and after taking some time to describe the problem,
ticking the box and dragging the log file to the appropriate place...
After a short pause a new window returned complaining about an illegal
file name. Though I can't see how a text file with the name "Log" is
illegal.
So I have no idea if it went or not, and as with all web mail forms I have
no copy of what I wrote.

I don't know why that happened - possibly the log file was too big. Please
email me the log file instead.

We've just been through this one in another thread. I had the same
problem. The message from sourceforge is completely spurious. The real
problem is the file length. If you zip it it goes OK.
It would be worth changing the instructions in NetSurf to say "send a
compressed log file (using !SparcFS, !Squash, etc.)".

this morning's build.
(For some reason using Font_Paint with blending during printing causes the lj
driver to invert text colours.)

There is a bald statement "Blending should not be activated during
printing" in Acorn's application note 295 (entitled 'Introduction to
StrongARM and Programming Guidelines'). Presumably this is the nearest
thing to official documentation on font blending, since volume 5a of the
RISC OS 3 PRM only covers OS versions 3.5-3.6.
