egg.com now seems to work with NetSurf. You can log in, and while it
regularly takes you to a page saying "please enable javascript", pressing
continue takes you to the desired page.
I had previously been using an unreleased javascript enabled browser just
to check my account, which sat there fetcing 3,7,2,9,1 objects while locking
the machine up entirely (some people will recognise that one), so thats
oneless time I'll have attempt to to use it.

Yes, I've normally used Fresco (since before NS was around) which
reports a javascript error and turns javascript off, so it should be
similar in NS. Navigation to earlier statements can be difficult if
not impossible.

Oh, forgot to mention one essential step; after logging in you sometimes get
a blank page with a redirection URL which doesn't work, of the forum
http://blahblahblah?https://blahblahblah in which case delete the left hand
part up to https: and you can then continue to the accounts page.
I've just tried Cahoot.com which previously didn't work without Javascript,
and now I get get in to that too, although I have't tried all the options
sucha as transferring money yet.
It looks like the banking sites have realised the problems of javascript,
and are allowing use from browsers which have it turned off for security
reasons, or don't have it at all in our case.

Not only banks. It seems to be something of a trend. I've put this
down to the accessibility guide lines which companies seem to be
gradually taking notice of; I assume to avoid potential discrimination
legislation problems for people using screen readers and the like.
Regardless, it's good for NetSurf users.
