Thank you for your quick reply.
Here are the last two lines of the stderr file:
/Default encoding not found
Fatal: font_width: font_scan_string failed
Do you have a duplicate copy of Homerton/Trinity/Corpus in your !Fonts
directory (*not* SmallCaps variant ie. Homerton.Medium)?
If so, are the IntMetrics/Outlines files named "IntMetrics"/"Outlines"
If the former, you need to do one of the following:
1. Rename them to "IntMetric0"/"Outlines0"
2. Delete the copies on disc, as they are present in ROM anyway
Personally, I'd take the second option ;)
Well, I did load the fonts that were going along NetSurf, and I did
them (Churchill, Corpus, Homerton, Sassoon and Trinity - all small caps).
But probably I've forgotten something. Or?
By the way, I don't have the normal Churchill installed on my computer.
Could that be the culprit?
No, Churchill is provided as a complete font in nsfonts.zip It's a
conversion of ITC Zapf Chancery (or something similar - I can't remember ;)
to RISC OS font format.
