i was trying to use Netsurf 2.7 to log in to the control panel for one of the websites i maintain, hosted by Neil Spellings: https://glastonburyconservation.org.uk/cpanel the Certificate dialogue comes up, OK that, the Authentication dialogue comes up. type in the password, a few seconds later the Authentication dialogue comes up again, type in password, repeat, endless loop. tried XP Firefox: got through but more fuss en route about Certificate. with Fresco, i logged in with no problem. so i downloaded the latest Netsurf test build, r12436 (2011-05-19), and the problem has been cured. haven't seen anyone else mention this on the list, so this is just for info. -- Jim Nagel www.archivemag.co.uk Abbey Press 32 Norbins Rd (01458) 83 3603 Glastonbury BA6 9JG pocket 0797 415 3861
