Wrong. It is also a RiscPC problem, as my original email stated:
'This happens on all five of our machines, all RPC SA running
!Printers 1.91a, on Select or Adjust 4.39. It happens regardless of
whether it's asked to print to printer or print to file. Standard
fonts are used.'
It's also good to know that I'm not the only one. Every
application I print from performs its task without a problem, so as
far as I'm concerned it's a Netsurf problem. When I get another
application that throws up the same error code
I don't normally print straight from NetSurf, but go via !Draw if
necessary. However I thought I'd give it a try and NetSurf printed out
my sample web page. The only problem was that it truncated the page on
the right hand side instead of formatting it to the printable width of
the paper or printing the right hand edge separately.
I'm using a RiscPC with Adjust 1i2 (4.39) and not !Printers. I'm used
to some recent apps not printing to !PrinterDP, which is a RO2 style
printer driver, but there's really no excuse for this and it's nice to
know that NS will print.
There was one other problem. When I tried to print before switching
the printer on, and then cancelled the print by pressing Escape
because there was a deadly embrace (NS was hogging the cpu waiting for
the printer to print, and the printer driver was waiting for NS to let
it have the cpu to complete initialisation) NS crashed. It was
necesary to reboot and then wait for the prnter to be ready before NS
