Yes, I know although it would be nice to see such a build "live". ;-)
This should happen reasonably soon, probably when we next update the
libraries NetSurf is linked against. I'm fairly sure the autobuilder will
be updated to GCC 3.4 while we're at it, so the Unixlib we use will have
the relevant Iconv support (as you've noted below).
But I think you're aware that UnixLib makes use of Iconv and the
documentation explicitly mentions it (reformatted quotation):
Indeed, but it only gets used if any Iconv calls are made (ie when
iconv_open is called for the first time). I'm fairly doubtful that there
are any apps out there which make use of this, though ;)
So, I doubt you're the only one who has it installed. ;-)
