I was thinking about the user putting a few dozen sites in a protected
list of allowed sites and nothing else being allowed without a password.
Something like what you want can be achieved by setting a homepage
Google SafeSearch, Mirago Zone or one of the kiddy search engines.
Personally, I find the combination of IPCop and DaGeek's
AddOn to work a treat. More technical persons can build a Linux box and
install DG themselves, wealthy people can buy it as part of Corporate
SmoothWall. Caveat about the current NS builds and some sites applies.
They'd be fine here, but for my friend far more than she'd want.
