Wouldn't something like Martin Wuerthner did with Gimp be a possible
solution?
E.g. everybody interested in a javascript-enabled Netsurf donating
a sum, I would suggest something like 50 Euro? Using paypal would be
the easiest way, thereby enabling the people who are spending their
free time (does it exist?) on this project to spend more time?
Netsurf as a browser is superior to O2 or any other browser except
for the javascript bit! For the Risc OS part of computing, that is.
Personally, I'd be happy with NS just being able to follow those stupid
javascript links that some sites use and any effort for javascript
being put to firefox.
My expectation is that netsurf would be far faster than a firefox
port and users of both would generally use NS the majority of the time
and firefox on nasty sites.
