Due to lack of time, we're finding it difficult to reply to bug
reports on this list, and keep track of what needs fixing. Therefore
we've decided to change the way we do things.
From now on, please report bugs to the bug tracker on SourceForge
instead of to this list:
http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?atid=464312&group_id=51719
If you set up a SourceForge account, you'll get an email whenever
something changes on a bug that you reported, and you can also choose
to monitor other bugs. Otherwise you'll need to note your bug number
and check back for changes.
There is also a similar tracker on SourceForge for feature requests.

New subject: [Netsurf-develop] Netsurf has detected a serious error and exit.
Hi,
I'd normally put this in the bug tracker, however, from where I'm
sitting at the moment I get a "500 Server Error" when I try to access it.
I've downloaded the latest Netsurf and installed it, as usual, over the
top of the previous copy. However, on startup I get the message given in
the subject and a log file opens automatically.
The only obviously "interesting"-looking, easily-postable line in the
log file is:
"content/urldb.c", line 1200: urldb_iterate_entries_path: Assertion
failed: parent->url
I'm running this on VRPC running RO 4.39.
Any ideas?

Running RISC OS Adjust 4.39 here on Virtual RPC-Adjust I can't reproduce
the problem - NetSurf Test Build (11 Apr 2006 02:45). I tried both an
installation over the previous version and then a clean installation.

Same here. I just rename the application by appending its build date
and install the new one. I keep the previous three versions just in
case. Back to !Netsurf0404..

Please try again with the next build (should be available around about
18:15). This will still die, but should provide somewhat more useful
information as to why. Please send me, off list, the log file produced by
this new build. You may also wish to send me your Choices:WWW.NetSurf.URL
file but, as this contains your global history from the last month, not
doing so is perfectly acceptable.
