Since hotlist load/save was ported from libxml to libdom it has
failed to
handle HTML entities. So the hotlist will get truncated before the first
entry to contain an "unusual" character.
The beep is because NetSurf opens a warning dialogue box to report
the
problem, although since it is quitting, you won't get a chance to see it
before NetSurf quits.

That's the same problem. The warning mentions the hotlist
because global
history and hotlist share the same code for saving.
