Can something be done to automatically preface the subject line in
emails from this mailing list with, e.g., [Netsurf-users] or
[Netsurf-develop] ... as under the old mailing list. Currently, the
emails show up under the names of individuals many of whose whose names
are not in my address list ... and, therefore, often get spammed out.

I use !Pluto and have a Newsgroups list which has mail.netsurf-develop
and mail.netsurf-users in it. This places the mail from the newsgroup in
my Netsurf box in !Pluto. However Clive I see your using Thunderbird
18.104.22.168 on this post (latest PC version is 22.214.171.124.) so whether the
later version will allow message filtering on CC or something I don't
