I have just done some experimentation with a local copy of one of
Maplin pages. The answer seems to be that certain HTML tags, when embedded
in a script, cause NetSurf to think prematurely that it has come to the end
of the script. In which case it just needs to be stricter about waiting for
a </script> tag (and display no further content at all, if necessary).
s./.\\/.g and all should be well...
