Yes, gzip compression is an optional part of HTTP, and NetSurf supports
this, speeding up downloads from some sites.
The problem with this site is that although it claims to be sending gzipped
data, it actually sends the page uncompressed. Working around this would
require changes to libcurl, so it's low priority at the moment. Please
consider reporting this to the site's Webmaster.
