Well, OK. /On the Iyonix/, Flash is supplied in !Boot.Resources. So
insofar as the way the Iyonix does things is standard, what I said
was correct. By all means feel free to quibble about how standard the
Iyonix's setup is - I know I certainly don't agree with all its setup
choices, but the location of Flash did seem reasonable to me.
Ah; I'm using a RPC. The 26bit version of Flash which I had was also
in !Boot.Resources, but I was considering moving it out, as part of my
plan to take anything that's not 100% standard out of !Boot. And if
the 32bit version of Flash is more reliable than the 26bit one (is it?)
then I might as well use it instead - assuming it is 26/32bit neutral
(is it?).
[I don't keep Choices inside !Boot either, and will probably move
!Scrap out too in due course. I'd rather that the whole of !Boot is
read only and remains unchanged as much as possible.]
