Nervous tick
by Richard Porter
When Netsurf is displaying the following page and others on the same
site the pointer starts flickering 2 or 3 times a second between a
pointing hand and an hour glass.
http://www.therailengineer.com/2012/04/26/bs11000-working-together-achiev...
This only happens when the top part of the page is displayed. If you
scroll down it stops; if you scroll back up so that most of the image
is shown it starts again. If you're working in another window over the
top it stops. If you bring NetSurf to the top it resumes. What's going
on?
Currently using r13534.

Current version?
by John Williams
I have been stuck at r13571 for some time - which may well be the latest
version; we mustn't deny developers a break!
But now my cURL script for downloading the latest version seems to hang!
Any ideas, anyone?

Hotlist
by Dave Symes
Fay wants to know something about the NS hotlist, so If the answer is
known, I appreciate the solution.
She uses NetSurf a lot and would like to sort out the mess that is her
Hotlist, so she's created a couple of directories in the list but can't
get anything to go into those directories.
No point in asking me... Which is why I'm asking here.
How does she take an existing Hotlist entry and put it in one of her
directories?
Thanks
Dave

The problem appeared some time between 2.6 (21st September 2010), which
is ok, and 2.7 (7th April 2011), which is not ok (sorry that I cannot be
more precise).
It seems to be caused by the position of the pointer on the bounding box
which represents the objects being moved. The pointer is at the top left
of the box, which is higher than one line, in the Hotlist window. Thus
the pointer cannot reach the bottom line.
Previously, the objects to be dragged were represented by a transparent
icon, which didn't restrict the movement of the pointer.

How to close framebuffer Netsurf version? & How to change keyboard layout?
by Eugenio J. Vidal García
Hello!
I'm using the framebuffer Netsurf version 2.9 running on Debian 6.0 and I
would like to know how to close the application and how to change the
keyboard layout.
Nowadays the only way that I can close the application is changing to
another tty and killing it from there, but if I couldn't change to another
tty how could I close Netsurf?
And my second question is:
Is there an easy way to changing the keyboard layout? if no, which files I
should try to change to adapt it to my keyboard layout and recompile it?
Thanks in advance, and sorry by my poor English.
Eugenio Vidal.

I had a cleanup using that technique, and managed to lose the LinkedIn
persistence cookie. Even when I tried to revert, it would no longer work,
which is a pain because the LinkedIn login won't work with NetSurf. I'm
not sue how I originally managed to get the persistence cookie. It must
have come with an invitation or something. I'm hoping another will come at
some point, because while going to my wife's Macbook is OK for urgent
things it's too much hassle for normal scanning.

Deleting subset of cookies
by Harriet Bazley
I still
http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&aid=3324329&group_id=51719&at...
have to go through the process of opening the log-in page and then
selecting and deleting the site-specific cookies in order to be able to
view the members-only http://www.ravelry.com - is there a way of
automating this process (i.e. selecting and deleting a subset of the
cookies file)?
It would at least make life easier if I could double-click on a shortcut
file to do so rather than having to scroll through the whole cookies
list each time. There is of course the quicker option of selecting
'Delete all cookies' from the menu, but I don't really want to clear all
the remembered settings for various other websites each time I try to
view this one.

Version Revision 13958
by David Sandberg
Hallo,
I'm trying to compile the newest svn version 13958. Under Linux Fedora
15 Gtk-version. It is compiling fine, but the test running in to
trouble. The search box on the netsurf-website isn't active. If the
cursor is on the website you cannot scrole or doanything, only if the
cursur is exactly on position over the vertical move bar you can
scrole. Is this a feature? Surfing ispossible andthe menu is in german
language unlikely of the official versions.
The trunk version 2.9 is properly running.
