Splitting of open brackets and next letter

When bracketted text is in the wrong place on a line, then Netsurf may
split the open bracket from the next character.
For instance:
rhubarb rhubarb rhubarb rhubarb rhubarb rhubarb rhubarb (text we dont
want separating from its brackets) rhubarb rhubarb.
Can get split to:
rhubarb rhubarb rhubarb rhubarb rhubarb rhubarb rhubarb (
text we dont want separating from its brackets) rhubarb rhubarb.
depending where on a line the bracketted text gets placed. I think
this has been so over several version, not just NS 2.5.

RISC OS autobuilder re-enabled

The major change is a rewritten and more flexible cache system. It enables
us to make the most of the improvements brought about by libcss, as well
as reducing unnecessary fetches.
Please report any issues you find.
I'd like to hear from users of NetSurf and WebJames on the same machine.
The old deadlocking issue should be fixed, so please let us know if things
are now working as they should.

cut&paste oddity

why is it that i can copy a URL (as a bit of text) out of an
Impression document and paste it into Edit, Datapower, Techwriter, and
various other apps, but i can't paste it into Netsurf's URL bar?
i can, however, paste it into the Google search box on the Netsurf
default page.
if i paste it into Edit, then copy it from there, i CAN paste it into
Netsurf's URL bar.
any explanation for the curious phenomenon?
using Netsurf r9799.

crash upon deleting a text area

is this a known problem, or does it happen just to me?
i'm typing a message to a forum in one of those text-input boxes.

in order to move some bits around more easily, i decided to copy what
i'd written and paste it into a text editor. luckily i did the paste
first, for as soon as i deleted the original, Netsurf crashed.
whereupon i recalled that this had happened to me in the past, but
don't think i reported it at the time.
will send bug report and logfile. using NS r9799 on RO 4.39.
