It appears that advert suppression has also gone titsup. I assume this
will be fixed too?

Badly formating page (no script)
by Richard Torrens (lists)
http://mlmmj.org/
looks bad. Clearly NetSurf doesn't do what is intended.
It's a Unix mailing list manager program. The page has no Javascript.
I think it's probably more a NetSurf issue than an mlmmj issue, though
the page doesn't impress me much.

Odd hourglass.
by Dr Peter Young
RISC OS 5.14 and NetSurf r8768.
Just out of idle curiosity, really: why do I get the hourglass
changing from normal to tiny and back again when NetSurf is
downloading a page? I've only noticed this for the last two or three
weeks, perhaps, or was I unobservant previously?
TIA,
With best wishes,
Peter.

Bradshaw of the future
by Gavin Wraith
Using NetSurf r8783 noted the following strangeness:
Tried to access http://bradshawofthefuture.blogspot.com/ ,
a site I used to have no problem with. After what appears to be
downloading activity the status bar announces 8 stylesheets found
and 0/0 bytes fetched, but the page remains blank. Then when I try
to quit NetSurf, it will not, not even when I try to make it quit
from the taskmanager. When I close the computer (Iyonix RO 5.14)
down all the icons disappear from the iconbar, except for the NetSurf
icon which remains briefly at the right-hand end of the iconbar
before the shutdown dialog appears. Presumably parts of NetSurf's
code are getting overwritten during the attempt to load the page.

NetSurf for AmigaOS 4 at ANT tomorrow (Sunday)
by Chris Young
Hi all
In case anybody is interested, I will be at ANT
(http://www.amiganorththames.co.uk) in Enfield tomorrow, Sunday 11th
July. I will have with me the latest dev build of NetSurf, and an
AmigaOne with AmigaOS 4.0 and/or 4.1 on which to run it.
Directions on the website http://www.amiganorththames.co.uk and entry
is free to non-members. It usually kicks off at about 1:30 I think,
but don't arrive too early as my AmigaOne is in bits and I need to
reconstruct it and reinstall OS4 before I can demo anything!
Regards
Chris

www.ebay.de
by Herbert zur Nedden
www.ebay.de looks very strange with NetSurf 2.x - even the current
build. On a 1600x1200 screen you have to set view scaling to 10% to see
all of the page due to masses of white space in the middle.

NS2.1 Unicode font library could not be initialized
by Mike Hobbs
I just tried 2.1 and can't get past the first hurdle...
"Unicode font library could not be initialized..."
I'm using it on Virtual RPC-SA (RO 4.02) which has been
running various versions of NetSurf successfully up to 2.0
and I just rolled back to 2.0 and its fine.
The only resource/module that was updated was Tinct and the
new version is working fine with NS 2.0. I've tried both new
and old !Unicode - no difference.

Lloystsb Page Rendering Problem
by R W Twort
Hi,
The problem with the rendering on the Lloyds home page at www.lloystsb.com
is still with us, I've just down loaded todays build of 9 July 2009 r8416
and its just the same.
I had been keeping up to date with the new builds, but I've had to go back
to 3 April 2009 r7039, which is the last build I have that renders this
page correctly.
There is a tab bar across the top of page, or should be, it is in the
April build, but is missing in the latest builds, the links are just Text
Links shown vertically down the lefthand side of the page, above the rest
of the content.
