Unknown SSL protocol
by John Williams (address)
Sometime after r8950 - 1st Aug 2009, accessing my French bank results in
this error at the password box appearing stage:
Sorry, NetSurf was unable to display this page
Unknown SSL protocol error in connection to
voscomptesenligne.labanquepostale.fr:443
- so something changed after that version.

Full save inventory file
by Richard Porter
I've just noticed that when you do a full save the inventory file is
now going into the parent directory of the saved application, not into
the application itself. This is inconvenient because the inventory
file is now detached from the rest of the page.
Was this change intentional, and if so, what is the rationale behind
it?

eBay and PayPal
by Dave Higton
I thought it had been suggested that NS doesn't cope with eBay and
PayPal?
I've just bought a cable this evening, on an eBay Buy Now, using
nothing but NetSurf r9725. The only thing that didn't work was
the link from the eBay item to PayPal. I was worried it was all
going to fall over here, but I went to My eBay, saw the item there
still awaiting payment, and was transferred successfully to PayPal
from there. I paid, the transaction went through, and I've
received all the expected confirmation e-mails.
All this, despite red warnings on both sites - especially PayPal
- that JavaScript and cookies must be enabled in order for the
site to work.
Good work, lads!
