Streetmap oddity!
by Torrens (lists)
Streetmap's old site
http://www.streetmap.co.uk/newdefaulte2.htm
There is a peculiarity in Netsurf ( r5886 )
If you type in a postcode, Streetmap finds it OK.
But if you drag and drop the same postcode, then click on Search,
Streetmap returns an error page (which gets displayed as text).
So why is drag and drop into Netsurf giving the wrong thing? CTRL C-V
works as drag and drop.

Saving background images
by Paul Vigay
Is there a way to save/export the background image from a web page?
Irrespective of where you click, NetSurf's 'Object' menu item is greyed
out. Fresco used to export the background image by clicking MENU somewhere
over the background in the top-left corner of the page.
I'm trying to save the background image from a website, but looking at the
source, it's quite fiddly to find, involving manually searching through
loads of CSS files. Is there an easier way that I'm missing?

More overlapping text
by Paul Vigay
Using NetSurf (latest build), and having reset the font settings to their
default values (which occasionally fixed this problem in the past), all the
text and headings at http://www.badidea.co.uk/index.php are overlapping,
making it impossible to read.

hotlist and global history thumbnails
by Tony Moore
NetSurf (03 Dec 2008 11:45) r5872, RO 6.10
!Scrap.ScrapDirs.IDdisabled.www.NetSurf.Cache contains about 26MB of
data but, having started NetSurf, when I open the Hotlist or Global
History windows, and expand all entries, _none_ of the entries displays
a thumbnail.
After using NetSurf for some time, the Global History window displays
thumbnails of recents visits, but they don't survive NetSurf quitting
and re-starting.
I thought that, possibly, the data was not being saved to the Cache, but
files are there datestamped only a few minutes ago.
Before I make a bug report, can I ask if anyone else sees this problem?

I find it more useful to place the cursor at the end of whatever portion
of the URL I wish to keep and to press Ctrl-Copy to delete right to end
of icon instead....

Changing address in the address bar
by Xavier Tardy
Hello.
Is there any easy way to change the address in the address bar ?
Double clicking doesn't do anything, and I can't do better than erasing
the address to type a new one.
Regards,
Xavier.
