NetSurf printing
by Richard Ashbery
Has any progress be made with NetSurf's printing on RISC OS 5? The
current release has the same help instructions as previous issues
about lack of Font Manager and printer drivers support - there is a
comment about a patch for non-Postscript printers that has been
submitted to RISC OS Open Ltd.

Online banking with Netsurf
by Dave Higton
The good news:
I've just used Netsurf (Dev) (28 Dec 2007 15:45) with Barclays
Bank to set up a payment.
The not so good news:
The writable fields are much too small. They won't display
even half the height of a character. This makes it difficult
to verify that a field has been entered correctly, of course.
Is there any chance of a fix in the not too distant future?
I know it's been known for a long time. Surely the height
of a writable field must be at least enough for one character
to be displayed?

Failure with !Netsurf 1.1 (13 Aug 2007)
by Rodney Blackall
AFTER the attached "save whole page" was printed two oddities occurred.
1. On selecting the close-window icon an error message was displayed and is
attached as Log, !Netsurf removed itself from the iconbar.
2. The font for all open windows was changed. This annoying effect is
reliably repeatable.

bug tracker filesize
by Tony Moore
I have just attempted to report a bug, and 134K zipped log file, to
http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=add&group_id=51719&atid=464312 but
it was rejected with the error '500 - Internal Server Error'.
I suspect that this may have been caused by the size of the attached
file, but there is no indication on the report page the maximum size.
May I suggest that the pink box, on the report page, should contain a
note as to the maximum acceptable size of file - if there is one.
The bug was an instance of pressing f4, to search, crashing NetSurf. I
believe that this may have been reported before - and I thought that it
had been fixed - but the bug persists in NetSurf r3800 under RO6.06.
Please let me know if anyone would like to see the log file.

Font tags
by Richard Torrens (RiscOS)
http://www.britishwildboar.org.uk/
Netsurf has a problem withe the closing /Font tags.
On this site they have done e.g.
<Font size=5><B>This site.....</B></Font size=5>
Not exactly corrceect htlm, but should this confuse Netsurf?

Bad redirect URL
by Paul Vigay
I've just upgraded to the latest NetSurf (29th Jan) and I've noticed that
my forum at http://forum.vigay.com no longer works. It always used to.
Indeed, I chose 'CuteCast' specifically because it was RISC OS and NetSurf
friendly.
All that happens now is that it comes up with "Bad redirect URL" after a
few seconds of not doing anything.

History thumbnails
by Paul Vigay
Are there currently any plans to fix the long-standing bug whereby the
small thumbnail images in the visual history window don't work on the
Iyonix?
The odd thing is that sometimes they work and sometimes all you get is a
blank window.
I thought that if you started off browsing from a local file and followed
links then there'd be no images, but it seems quite random whether you get
them or not.
Using Iyonix ROS 5.13 and latest NetSurf (ie. todays)
