I agree. I figure that, alongside the Web Standards Project's Acid2 test page,
testing these templates, written by someone within the same organisation, would
give extra kudos to the browser.
I'll see what I can do - there are about 20 templates, covering various layouts
suggested by the web design community, I'll go through them all, and forward
the results in due course. I'll use v1 of course!

I've been an avid user of Netsurf for a few months now, via VirtualRiscPC on my laptop.
I recently acquired Dreamweaver CS3 on the PC, and notice that Adobe have supplied percieved standard CSS templates for page layouts such as 1 column, 2 column, 3column layouts, with or without headers and footers.
I've examined the code of some of these, developed by Stephanie Sullivan, senior member of the Web Standards Project, and they are generally very good templates.
Now that Netsurf has reached version 1.0, I'm wondering whether it would be good for these templates to be tested with Netsurf? I figure as the take up of CS3 increases, we may be seeing more and more sites adopt these templates.
I'm willing to test these initially, as CS3 and VirtualRisc PC are on the same machine. What do you think?

I am finding that Netsurf (latest build 15/06 and V1.0) crashes when
using Google images. I am using an Iyonix with RISC OS 5.13
The problem happens as follows, when you go into Google images and do
a search for a picture, when the page of pictures is displayed you
click one of them , then on the next screen if you click on the link
which says "See full-size image" Netsurf then crashes and gives an
error report/log .
This does not happen every time, so there must be something in certain
images which is making the browser crash perhaps ?
I have saved the error log file which was generated from the crash,
but am unsure how to send it in, do I simply send it in as an
attachment to netsurf-users(a)netsurf-browser.org (I was going to do
this but unsure if everyone will end up with this file)
Or is it done through the website ? I am not totally sure how to do
this, so if someone can tell me how to do then i'll send it in.

Sent email including original post.

Found problem in the meantime. My bad.

Apologies extended. Got a bit worked up about it.

Had an email via the new list.
It was stuck in my spam trap as it had no tag.
So I tried to respond to the post but I got an error 450 back, saying that
the domain didn't exist.

Just discovered that Netsurf 10 Jun 2007 20:00 refuses to quit either from
the iconbar menu or from Tasks. Never been a problem before on previous
versions and there is nothing running that hasn't been running before.
Other running programs can be quit without problems.

How happy was I to read that version 2007-06-10 00:25 had a work around for
the broken PS printer driver (I have an Iyonix).
However, no matter what I try, NetSurf quits with a serious error detected,
leaving a log file of several megabytes. I don't object to sending that,
but I wonder if you want to receive it!
Have just downloaded NetSurf 1 and also the latest build, both fail to
load my site from WebJames. This has worked fine with the previous
builds. The NetSurf window opens but remains blank, the time counter
is running and I am unable to use any other programs. Alt Break is the
only way to get back to normal use. Running on Iyonix 5.11.

As part of a rationalisation of our web presence, the mailing list for
NetSurf users is moving. As of the end of this month (June), the current
list (netsurf-develop(a)lists.sourceforge.net) will cease being used.
Therefore, please subscribe to the new list at your earliest convenience.
The new list address is: netsurf-users(a)netsurf-browser.org.
for subscription details etc.
The archives for the current list will be transferred in due course, so
nothing will be lost.
For those interested in NetSurf development discussion (which is distinct
from end-user support), please consider subscribing to the developers'
mailing list netsurf-dev(a)netsurf-browser.org. The mailman interface for
this may be found at
