What is the bug that causes Netsurf to crash when an image in the
upper frame is clicked upon in images.google.co.uk?

Problems with ZEN forms.
by Barry.Allen
Hi Folks,
I use a few webforms on my websites which are with ZEN.
When a form is completed, up should come a page which says thank-you
for filling in the form, but with Netsurf a page comes up which says:-
"Automatic form response
Problem Encountered
The page you sent the form from was not set up correctly. Please let
the author know.
The author of the page needs to include the following HTML tag within
the form:
< INPUT NAME = "recipient" VALUE = "your_email_address_here" TYPE =
HIDDEN >
"
In ZEN forms they don't need a line like the one above. They have, I
think, a better method where the recipient's address is just a number.
This number is used to look up the email address in an address file on
the server.
An example of one of my forms is at:-

Excessive CPU usage when idle
by David J. Ruck
Using r3633 if you visit http://infocenter.arm.com/help/index.jsp
then click on the ARM11 NetSurf loads the page ok, and takes some
time to process the expanded index along with the 7390 repeated
icons. However then even when idle, its taking 60%=70% CPU on the
Iyonix. If you click in a couple of the of the other sections the
CPU raises to 75%-85%. (http://www.armclub.org.uk/free/cpuload.spk)
Just found that clicking on the timing diagrams item, cause NetSurf
to dissapear from the iconbar with no error report, although the log
file is present so I'll raise a bug report on that.
Cheers
---Dave

Cookies problem again?
by John
Just wondering whether this problem has re-occurred or whether this is just
an awkward site?

Machine dependent behaviour?
by Gary Jones
I have the same version of Netsurf installed on a laptop with VRPC and
a Kinetic RPC (15th Oct 2007 r3633). Both machines are running RO 6.06
and yet Netsurf can access my Nationwide Banking account on the laptop
but NOT on the RPC.
Here is the URL: https://olb2.nationet.com/pda/NBSPDA2.asp
It's the mobile (cut-down) version of their online banking interface.
Oregano1 and 2 manage this on the RPC but not Nefsurf. It just reloads
the page when you click on the "GO" button. On the laptop using the
same version it accesses my bank accounts without any problem.
Can anyone suggest what is going on here?
Thanks
Gary

Unimplemented features - or bugs?
by Richard Torrens (RiscOS)
Re-doing a www site I notice some (standard?) html features Netsurf does
not do.
Omissions, bugs, or what?
the SIZE attribute of <HR SIZE="5"> doesn't work.
<meta http-equiv="refresh" content="0;url=indexT.html">
doesn't work
<OL> doesn't work
OTOH I like Netsurf and it is my browser of preference.

I've found the bug report now, filed on 1 June 2007 by Harriet Bazley
http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1729711&group_id...
and still assigned to 'nobody', unfortunately.
