The database is easily searchable. I think you'll also find that we
don't have the time to search through the mailing list finding all the
bugs that havn't been filed, either :) The BTS has support for marking
things as "not a bug" or as duplicates of other bugs. It saves us a lot
of time to just be able to work through the bugs one by one, and marking
some of them as fixed previously, or as duplicates in terms of cause.

Essentially, if NetSurf crashes, it's a bug, unless caused by hardware
failure.

Still, please say which version you were using, as when we come back to
look at the bug, things may have moved on significantly, so we'll need
to know which version you were using back then.

[Netsurf-develop] EXIF causes Netsurf to crash
by Roger Crabb dip LA
Netsurf exits without any error message as soon as I visit any page
with a jpeg containing exif data. This has been happening for a year
or more now and it's about time I got it sorted out! Yes, I have
installed all the latest stuff correctly.
I don't think this is a bug, in fact I don't think it's really
anything to do with Netsurf. I suspect that it's the result of
something else that I'm running on my RO4.39 machine that causes it,
it's just that I can't work out what it could be (it doesn't happen on
my other RO4.02 box).
Any ideas anyone?

Yes, I saw that the other day, but couldn't reproduce it either.

[Netsurf-develop] Problem with pages - flash object & google - 19 sept 10:15 (riscpkg) build
by Jess Hampshire
Hi
I have a problem with this page: http://www.ccw.kent.sch.uk/
The flash object is positioned wrongly.
It appears in the correct place with respect to the text before the
large graphic loads, but is placed incorrectly after.
(The flash also doesn't work, but I'm assuming that is just the plugin
not supporting a new enough flash).
I have also had problems with some google searches giving a blank
page. Which if saved can be viewed offline. It happened a lot with
some earlier versions, but I've only seen it happen once recently and
not been able to reproduce it this morning.
Are these general problems and do I need to enter a bug report?

[Netsurf-develop] Great News: SquirrelMail work with Netsurf
by M.I. Abdullah
Just dowloaded v 19/9 and just for sheer persistance, tried our webmail.
Suddenly, the clouds lifted and the sun began to shine - what a great
day!, I can login and fethch mail. Wonderful. The best thing that has
happened this year. I can put away my newly acquired Linux box. Many
thanks for fantastic work. It runs quite fast although a little flaky, but
hell, who cares! I have one machine in my office instead of two.
Many thanks

[Netsurf-develop] Illegal window handle
by Dave & Sue Lawson
In recent versions I have found an "illegal window handle" from
<choices.themes> and no theme graphics. The report only shows on the
first attempt, subsequently the same non graphics display but without
the error warning. The last version I have that works is 6th September
on my RPC 4.02.
As I've not seen any comment on this is it me or a bug?

[Netsurf-develop] New frames code
by Paul Sprangers
Dear developers,
Incredible!
The new frames implementation is absolutely great.
My favourite site (www.delink.nl) displays beautifully as never before,
even at 150%.
Great, great work.
Kind regards,
