[Netsurf-develop] Adding SSL certificates
by Theo Markettos
Is there any way to add SSL certificates to Netsurf without recompiling?
Self-certified keys for my local server are failing, and I don't mind
hacking my Netsurf to make them work. I appended the certificate from
apache.pem to !Netsurf.Resources.ca-bundle but it made no difference (apart
from moaning when I briefly got the format wrong); still says:
SSL certificate problem, verify that the CA cert is OK. Details: error:
14090086:SSL
routes: SSL3_GET_SERVER_CERTIFICATE: certificate verify failed
which is the normal 'cert not valid' error AFAICR.
BTW, should you care, a suitable rendering of 'Greek' (ISO language code el)
for the languages menu is:
U+0395 U+03BB U+03BB U+03B7 U+03BD U+03B9 U+03BA U+03AC
Thanks
Theo

[Netsurf-develop] ITV F1 site
by Martin Wynn
Hi,
The site www.itv-f1.com fails to render completely with !NetSurf build
15/08/05 00:15. It shows the top 2 banners and the rest is just a
white blank page.

[Netsurf-develop] eBay
by John
Using 06 Aug 2005, I cannot get eBay to stay on line. NetSurf loads the
opening page of www.ebay.co.uk with no problem. I have been looking for a
Mercedes 230, but entering "Mercedes 230" as a search string causes NetSurf
to quit without any error message. If just "Mercedes" is entered, there is
no problem.
Does anyone else get this?

[Netsurf-develop] global history and hotlist
by Tony Moore
Sometimes I forget to bookmark a website, and would find it very
convenient if an entry in Global History could be copied to the
Hotlist, either by menu 'History -> Selection -> Copy to Hotlist'
or by drag and drop.

That's what I was talking about when I said, "A known issue makes the
cells above the navigation links taller than they should be".

Being behind 2 firewalls, I am able to download the file.
Please configure your firewall correctly.

So Apache isn't "normal", then? ;)
You will be pleased to hear, however, that the server is now listening on
port 80. (For those that are worried about existing URLs being broken,
there's no need to fear as it's still listening on port 6888).
