[Netsurf-develop] eBay problems
by John
Having just upgraded to the latest (09 Jun 2005 18:46) version, I find that
Netsurf quits without any error message when I try a search.
Having entered the search word "strimmer" on the "My eBay" page, it shuts
down every time.
Strangely, if I try a search for "keyboard", it works OK. . ??
I have found other words which also cause it to quit: "key","mower" for
example.
Exactly the same happens through the search box on the "buy" page too.
Can anyone else repeat this oddity?
The previous version of Netsurf worked perfectly!
John

[Netsurf-develop] hotlist statistics bug
by Tony Moore
In the Hotlist window, 'Selection => Reset statistics' resets the
statistics for the selection _and_ for all the unselected items.

[Netsurf-develop] Images not being displayed?
by Barry Allen
Hi Folks,
I've had, and solved, a strange problem. The IMG SRC line below will
display the image as expected. Originally the directory for the advert
pictures was 'adverts'. Putting in 'adverts' instead of 'adpics' in the
IMG SRC line below and of course changing the directory name stopped the
image appearing. Also a directory name of 'advert' stopped the image
appearing. 'ad', 'adv', 'adve' and 'adver' all displayed the image
correctly but as soon as it is changed to 'advert' or 'adverts' the image
will not display. It will in other browsers.
Is 'advert' some sort of reserved word in Netsurf?

[Netsurf-develop] Strange blue lines
by Graham Pegg
Recently, strange blue lines have been appearing on some sites, including
using the latest (?) 9th June build.
They appear to be aligned to the right hand side of objects and to be
something like a tenth of the way up the objects.
The last build I have that didn't do this was 16th May.
It's not a major irritation, but they shouldn't be there.
Graham

[Netsurf-develop] Build 7 Jun 2300 dispplay errors
by Keith Hopper
Greetings,
I have just downloaded the above build which shows two repeatable
display errors. Try
https://flame.cs.waikato.ac.nz/333/Private/login.php
You won't of course be able to log in but you will notice a horizontal
blue line almost below the logo - which might be something to do with the
anchor there.
You will also see the small 'input control' just under the word data
base - which shouldn't be there. This repeats so badly that on some forms
where there might be dozens of input controls there are all these extra
little ones!
Neither of these display problems arose with the 25 May build (the
last one I used).
The rendering of the two float images at the bottom is still one above
the other instead of side by side (since there is no conflicting flow
content).
