The map for Exile on the Amiga that somebody has just submitted. At
least you managed to see it!

[Netsurf-develop] Version 4 Sep 16:45 table layout problem still present
by Keith Hopper
Greetings,
Isn't Netsurf coming along nicely? "Thank you" to those working on it
is not really an adequate expression - but in the absence of teleportation
I can only express my thanks by e-mail.
The table layout problem with http://www.suse.de/ still remains,
however. The row of pictures and the next row of text have cells sadly
misaligned.
Keep up the good work!
Keith

[Netsurf-develop] no writable memory ?
by Barry Smith
I've examined the archive of posts but been unable to find anything
that might explain the following
On the Iyonix (5.06), no other applications running [1]
!Verma reports that I have -
SharedUnixLibrary 1.02, AcornURI 1.03, Tinct 0.07, WindowManager 4.91
If I doubleclick on !NCNetsurf I get an error. Clicking on describe I get -
No writable memory at this address
If I double click on !NCNetsurf again I get the error -
NCNetsurf is already running
In neither instance is an icon loaded onto the icon bar.
Any ideas what I might be doing wrong ?
Any further information you need on my set-up/apps/System files ?
Barry
[1] Not exactly true. I have ChangeFSI, DPlngScan, Edit, HID and TempDir
on the icon bar but they are dormant IYSWIM

[Netsurf-develop] No images
by Paul Sprangers
Dear developers,
I am sorry that I have to report that the latest test build (4-9-04/7:45)
doesn't display images anymore. Just try any Google Images search.
But probably, you've found this out yourselves already.
Kind regards,
Paul Sprangers

[Netsurf-develop] History tree
by Jeremy C B Nicoll
Much as I like NetSurf, I find it maddening that the history is tied to
the current browser window. All too often I open one window, surf
around, then adjust click to open a linked window, and later on shut
the first one - and the history information is gone!
But from my point of view pages I visited a few minutes before should
be in the history, regardless of which particular page I visited from.
Can you please provide two histories - one as now that's tied to each
window, and one overall one - perhaps accessed by select/adjust clicks
on the icon?
It'd be nice too if there was a way to purge items from a history eg by
seecting them or dragging a box around them and then deleting them. It
might be handy to be able to save a history as well, perhaps using the
full-save sort of logic for normal pages.
Also, sometimes in a session I visit the same page several times,
having reached it from a variety of prior pages. It'd be useful to
have duplicates pruned out of the list.
I'd also like an option to not have all the single page thumbnails
shown, nice as they are, because when a history has many pages in it
they get a bit unwieldy. A simple list, or "threaded" list of URLs
alone would be enough. Or just one that's URLs in the timestamped
order in which they were visited.
I hope this doesn't sound too grumpy!

[Netsurf-develop] Inactive buttons
by Grahame Parish
Hi,
Since downloading the latest version of NetSurf (31 08 2004 20:00), I no
longer have use of the first four navigation buttons (Back, Forward, Stop
and Reload). They stay disabled all the time. I assume this is a
temporary bug unless I am the only one experiencing this problem.
Navigation is still available via the History and Home buttons.
Thanks for all your work on a great, fast native browser.
Cheers,
Grahame.
