[Netsurf-develop] Bgcolor wrong colour

I was just wondering why this doesn't always appear to produce a black
background on Netsurf yet does on WXL and Fresco:
<body bgcolor="#000000" text="#FFFFFF" link="#0000ff" vlink="#0088ff">
I could understand it if it was bgcolour as per Fresco but it's not ;-)

[Netsurf-develop] File extensions

I uploaded some pictures to my website and by accident forgot
to give them .jpg extensions. They displayed perfectly in O2
and IE, but not with Netsurf, which displayed them as if text files.
I'm not expecting this to be addressed, as it was my own fault for
forgetting the file extensions. I just thought it might be worth
mentioning for posterity.

NetSurf gets an "Forbidden" when trying to visit the above URL. With
Galeon it works without any problems. What might be the reason?

[Netsurf-develop] difficulty with latest (14th) compile

The latest netsurf loads, but gives a consistent error about u-fonts not
found when clicked from the icon bar, and fails. I assume this relates to
user-font definitions, but since I at least haven't been told what to do,
I can't do anything!
Fortunately I have an older version on my laptop - I'm so used to new compiles
running I just delete old versions usually.

[Netsurf-develop] feature request - content control

Hi
A friend asked me about getting access to the internet in a way that is
safe for her young children to use.
Could I request some form of content control be made available for NS?
Even something as simple as a list of sites that are permitted (with
flags for downloads and offsite graphics being allowed for that site)
with a password to override the blocks would be good.

[Netsurf-develop] FTP URLs

Is it just me or doesn't NetSurf support FTP URLs properly? When I
click on a link to download a FTP URL, my web proxy comes back with the
following message:
Your request for http://ftp://ftp.domain.net/file/name could not be
fulfilled, because the domain name ftp could not be resolved.
This indicates that NetSurf incorrectly request the above URL which has
an additional "http://" prefixed.
Is it just me or a general, known bug?
