piles upon piles of ugly hacks, but the user experience can be that you can
then create instances of types of things, and have a nice little form for
people to fill in details.
If it's not a complete ballache to administer, this would be my preference,
simply because it's what I'd expect people to be most familiar with. I
understand that MediaWiki+PostgreSQL is now stable -- Citizendium uses it,
for example.
