However, I see a "25b8" at the left of every line, which
means that that Unicode character isn't rendering for me.
It should be a little triangle, pointing right if the node is collapsed
and down if the node is expanded.
If the default fonts don't provide those gylphs on RISC OS, we'll need
someone who knows their way around a font editor to add them too
