Hi folks,
i've started hacking on the pv6 result from the GSoC to try to get it running
since the public GIT i've found isn't as far as I had hoped and has still tons
of work on its TODO list. Thanks to the start though Jeff Rogers!
Thanks for starting the thread this week Reinoud. Yesterday was a bank
holiday here so it's been a late start to the week. My initial LLVM
patchset is I think almost ready for merging - I addressed all
outstanding comments at the end of last week. There's been a few more
since then which I'll be addressing shortly. This week I want to move
further forward with completing the MC layer (standard
pseudoinstructions, complete relocations) and hopefully start work on
basic codegen.
As well as LLVM work I've spent a bit of time thinking about improving
the
lowrisc.org website, which right now doesn't give the clearest
picture of what we're about, how to get involved, and our current
status.
Next week I'm running a one-day LLVM conference
(
http://llvm.org/devmtg/2016-09/) and getting married on the 10th,
sorting out final arrangement for both events is likely to eat in to
my productivity this week!
So, what are you working on this week?
Best,
Alex
