We'd need to investigate what btrfs will do with a larger drive. It might go
ahead and try and use even more space for its initial trees, which would
balloon the FS size (even compressed).
We used to ship a disk image preformatted for /src ready to use to simplify
matters, but it was annoying to move around.
Certainly one for considering when you get back.
