Hi I'm in favour of introducing definitions version 8 as a proposed new version of the format, and adding a migration for it, and updating the schema. But I would much rather hold off on actually switching the reference system definitions to definitions version 8 until Morph can understand them. Easiest solution is to split the schema updates out as a separate patch, so we can merge that sooner. I'm interested what others think here. If it turns out I'm the only one using Morph for work then I can I look at switching to YBD. However YBD still lacks some features I need.
