I think constantly running `git remote update` for every repo is going
to be very inefficient, and will get worse and worse the more repos that
you care about. Much better to add change notification to Gitano.
I suggest talking to Daniel Silverstone to find out how much work it'd
be to add change notifications to Gitano.
